About Risk Management

Risk Management's primary mission is to reduce the frequency and severity of workplace injuries and occupational diseases through safety surveys and analysis, consultation and communication, policy and procedure development, implementation, and training.

Risk Management's secondary mission is to protect the County's real property and other assets through the use of proven risk control techniques, such as the compilation of accurate underwriting information data, exposure avoidance, and deflection/contractual transfer of risk.
